The Beetle Who Challenged the Elephant
One day a dung beetle was flying in the streets. Suddenly, it spotted a dustbin at a corner. She went to it and found some; liquor bottles. She flew near the bottles and licked the few remaining drops. Then, buzzing happily, it returned to its heap of dung. After sometime, an elephant was passing by the dung heap. It smelled the dung and moved away due to its foul smell. The beetle saw this and got angry. It was under the effect of the liquor,....



The Oak Tree & The Reeds
The Oak tree always thought that he was far stronger than the reeds. He said to himself "I stand upright in a storm. I don't bend my head in fear every time the wind blows. But these reeds are really so weak." That very night blew a storm and the mighty oak tree was uprooted. "Good God!" sighed the reeds, "our way is better. We bend but we don't break." MORAL : - Pride hath a fall



The Cow
Margaret, a hen, lived with her friend the grasshopper. They lived in miserable conditions as they had spent all the earned money. To add to this their friend, cow had died and they did not know what to do. "If only the good Lord would give us another cow!" they sighed, "We shall never be able to buy another one." "Work with faith and the Lord will help you," said their neighbor, the dog. "What can we do?" asked the hen. The dog replied, "You must work harder.....



Count Your Chickens When They Hatch, Moral Story
A Milk-maid had been to the meadow to milk her cows. Now she was returning home with a pail of milk on her head. She thought, "I will make cream and butter out of this milk. Then selling them, I will buy eggs. and when they hatch, I shall have a good poultry farm." She further thought, "I shall sell some of my fowls and buy a fine dress. Seeing it on my body at the fair, all the boys will admire me. Lost in day dreams, she forgot about the pail on....




The Miser And His Gold
There was once a miser. He melted all his money into a block of gold and buried it in a pit. Every day he would dig it up and smile to see it. One night the gold-block was stolen. So, the miser was in tears. A friend of his saw him weeping and said, " You should bury a stone in the pit and look at it every day. You never spent money when you had it Was it better then a stone anyway?" MORAL : - It is a cause to be a miser.



The Fox Without Tail
A fox was once caught in a trap. It was only after a tough struggle that she could get free. But, to her sorrow, her beautiful tail had been cut off and left in the trap. "How ugly I shall look!" moaned the fox, " won't the other foxes laugh at me ?" Thinking hard, the fox hit upon a plan to save herself from being laughed at. The MeetingShe called a meeting of his friends and said, "Brothers! have you ever wondered why after all, we carry these long tails?" Let us cut them....



The Wolf And The Goat
Once a wolf saw a goat atop a hill and said, "Come down here, Miss Goat! The grass here is greener and longer." "Thank You," answered the goat, "the grass down there may be much better. But, if I come down you will get a good meal. So, I prefer to stay here - where you can't reach. At least I am quite safe." MORAL :- Let not others exploit your gentleness.



Idle Tortoise
One day the tortoise was roaming in the jungle. The tortoise saw an eagle resting on a tree top. The tortoise went to the eagle and asked him, "Can l also sit like you and do nothing ?" The eagle answered, "Sure , why not." The tortoise smiled and sat on the ground below the eagle. The tortoise rested there for hours. Soon the tortoise went in a deep sleep. Suddenly a hunter came in his jeep to the forest to hunt a tortoise. The hunter suddenly saw....




Buffalo’s Patience
There lived a buffalo with a mischievous monkey in the forest. Every day, the monkey used to trouble the buffalo either by pulling his tail, throwing nuts on his head or jumping on his back from the tree. The buffalo was fed up of monkey's prank, but he still dealt With patience. The other animals of the forest saw this and thought why the buffalo tolerated all the mischief. The elephant went to the buffalo and asked, “Why don't you teach a lesson to the monkey....



Count The Blessings, Not The Curses
A boy used to cry for new costly shoes. His father was a worker in a factory and he had a meager salary. He bought cheap shoes but the boy was disappointed. He cried a lot and left the house. He sat near a bus stop. He wondered when he would get the expensive pair. Just then a beggar passed by on his crutches. The boy was shocked to find that the beggar had no legs. He got enlightened. At least he had legs. He thanked god for giving him legs and mother and....
